An extension providing shade to the south (entrance) side, and the use of materials well suited to

the functions, both indoor and outdoor, keeps the cultural quest of the workshop intact!

A winding staircase leads you to the entrance of the semi - open amicable porch leading you to the indoor workshop area.

Wooden rafters were calculated for full length, thereby avoiding the quantity of wood to use as well as more labour intensive work of joining those many members.

The outdoor flooring was designed in a herringbone brick pattern, which is economical, locally synonymous and aesthetically pleasing.
