A small cowshed which will house 2 cows and a bull,
with a room along the south side for the owner for storage.

This construction method is used to allow natural ventilation and diffused sunlight into the room.
inverted bottles
These are used to allow diffused light into the room.
plinth and wall
Random rubble stone masonry in mud mortar is used as the plinth for the room till a height of 4 feet. Burnt bricks are used for the wall, thereafter.
FRAME OF THE SHED
The tied wooden posts are reused from an old structure, which are used to form the basic framework of the shed. They are treated with waste engine oil.
flooring
The floor is designed using the running bond in bricks and mud mortar.
The channel provided in the floor collects the cattle urine along the slope, this is used as a natural pesticide in the farm.
